Art, my thoughts exactly when I read the news. I don't think a suit would
run on into the tens of millions of dollars, but it would be expensive and
the defendant has potentially greater resources. This case reminds me of some
of the earlier (circa 1997) cases against Samsung and the like. In 2000,
Micron had $6.8 billion in sales. This is Samson vs. Goliath.
(I guess the former would be Samson vs. Samsung.)

I don't know what percentage of MU's business is flash memory, but the legal
team at SNDK may have some idea as to the magnitude of a settlement or the
value of a long-term license.
