Bob..."Could it be that you got some non-printing chars via e-mail?" The extra character is being added in the export file. Give it a try with the same scan. Do an export of the scan. Then open it with a text editor and check for the extra "\". Nobody else has commented on being able to produce the extra "\" in the export file besides me so I don't know if it on my end or an overall Q+ problem. Maybe NT will be different ?? J”hn
