| mark, about three years ago i went on holiday holding thirty or so stocks, after about a month went to a nearby town that had a larga distancia, phoned Green Line at an incredible per-minute charge and got quotes on everything as fast as possible. I had had the luck to buy big the morning after Greenspan's irrational exhuberance remark, so i was doing pretty good - everything was up since i'd left, except for one, IUT, the guy on the phone said 'no such listing' ... well that really whacked the old net returns, as i had quite a few and i figured they'd carted them off to jail or something. Got back to a computer eventually, found out they'd just changed the ticker, to IMT. Changed now to LOR, of course. Here's our old thread - Subject 12451 ... there's another one i started way back in the archives, can't remember where. Wayne Cockburn posted to it, i think. Nice moves on the stock, wish i was in, might yet be ... good luck to you, in any case .... cheers ... marcos |
