I pay a flat $19.95 per trade regardless of the number of shares traded. My account for trading these penny stocks is with E*Trade. In spite of some horror stories about them, I don't seem to have any trouble. Agree that the per share price at some brokers can prevent you from profitably trading in penny stocks.
