Ron- I'm not ignoring you, but I hope to have a fuller response in due course. In any case, I talked with my ultrasound technologist friend and she indicated that Acuson does have two models with 3-D capability. I asked her to get back with me with model numbers. Her department was rather unimpressed with ACN's marketing folks who demonstrated some equipment earlier this year. They initially declined to leave the equipment, but then when told that ATI had indicated a willingness to do so said they would be willing to lend it at a later date. In any case, the department expects to purchase ATI equipment when they upgrade within the next year, mainly on the basis of price (ATI is $75-100K less for their needs, according to my friend). She also indicated that ACN had much more knowledgeable ultrasound technologists on their staff than what she had seen from ATI. Larry
