Bought a few hundred shares today based on all these rumors and an upgrade to Buy today by a small firm (forgot the name already!). But, the main reason to buy is the quality of science... Schreiber, on of ARIADs science principals is a certified wunderkind (you can read about his role as infant terrible at Vertex in the book "Billion Dollar Molecule). And Crabtree is no slouch either. The technology in some ways resembles what ARRS and other designer drug firms are trying to do...use artificial means to link together molecules in the cell that otherwise wouldnt be joined. With this technology you can turn genes on, turn them off, or couple the halves of a signalling mechanism, like the hormone receptors (erythropoetin, GSH, etc). The details are a little murky, at least to me, but the surface of the magicians brew is beginning to stir as though something wonderful and strange were about to emerge.
