My understanding (I could be wrong) is that the BC Business corp act requires at least 20 days notice to shareholders. I have not received any info to date. If improper notice is given then the BC Security comm. should be notified as well as the transfer agent who would collect the proxy votes. If there is dissedent shareholders who propose a different slate of directors the dissident materials should be sent to all shhds with a different proxy.
This was recently done by Dayton shareholders who were lead by funds which held shares.
watch your mail in the next few days. If there is no dissident material with the mgmt material we are fighting an uphill battle.
cheers
PS It is very important to be able to vote FOR a different slate of directors instead of withholding voting for the management slate.
