Jeez Dave..... are you going by the philosophy of "Buy High, Sell Low?"
We are, hopefully, near the BOTTOM of the gold markets. Whether it is in ALTA or any of the other junior/intermediate producers and explorers, we are near the end of the predictable, annual "summer doldrums". The Friday shake up in the major markets, and the support in gold is starting to demonstrate that.
As well, the issues that precipitated this year's doldrums (Bre-X, Delgratia, Golden Rule, Hixon etc etc) are now behind us. When the confidence comes back into the markets, which will be soon, we will all be in better shape.
There are bargains out there, ALTA is one of them. This IS the time to start bottom fishing for those companies with REAL reserves, CASH in the bank, and good POTENTIAL.
At least ALTA is in North America where the standards are significantly more stringent when it comes to reporting results.
Now IS the time to start buying...
