John why is it that every time a company announces a stock split someone invariably says... "The announcement of a stock split, per se, does not change the value of the company one iota." John - WE - all know this no? However stock splits DO have a tendency to affect share price. Everyone knows this so lets toss the 'it doesn't affect the value of the company' ok? Thanks :-)
