I appreciate the nice words. All I am doing is following the crowd. Almost all of the big movers in the last couple of months have been favorites.

It seems the Canadian tech stocks are acting like a microcosm of the NASDAQ - plus more and more money is being funneled into the Canadian mkts. There is a frenzy going on in tech stocks in general. Much like when the mining shares used to go crazy. And the tech stocks are responding much the same way. Ironically, what seems to be happening is exactly what this thread is about momo - the difference between now and a year ago is that stocks are not just fluctuating up and down. They start moving up and then money just keeps pouring in and they just keep moving as everyone is looking for the movers. Sort of a self fulfilling prophesy.

I also think Greenline and other brokerages like that are making access by us yanks possible. It was almost impossible for Yanks to invest in Canada until greenline, as the commissions were just too expensive; and other brokerages move money back and forth between US and Canadian each time there is a trade, costing how much more? If we ever get online trading of Canadian stocks from the US look out <g>.

Last, the internet, silicon investor and stockhouse are also creating more investors. I saw a quote on stockhouse that TD waterhouse's online trading is exploding. Some of those investors , like me, are finding their way to Canada (after all it is just next door <g>. And this will probably just increase.

Everytime I do get a good rise, and often that means several 100% I take some profit and just look for another company.

Anyway, that's my take on what going on - I have no idea whatsoever how this is going to end up <g>. I am just going to enjoy the ride and continue to diversify. I am even starting to buy a few good mining stocks <g> ( its in my blood)<g>.
