I really enjoy the Da Vinci Code. I'd like to Angels and Demons now. I'd read "Holy Blood, Holy Grail", and many short pieces of the same vein before that. My father read "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" after reading the Da Vinci Code, and my parents and I have had interesting talks on the subjects raised. My mother's book group did the Da Vinci Code and it was quite a meeting. They are ladies in the 70's and a few in their 60's. Several are Catholic and others conservative Southern Baptist. Many were very upset by the book. Not so much offended, as just very upset by it. A couple are women I used to do odd jobs for and they both would fix me lunch and we'd talk. As they are religious and I love to talk religion, we'd end up on that. I found it territory to dance around very lightly. :)
