Well, we will just have to look at the patent when it comes out. In this case, without reading the patent itself, the method. In my opinion, includes the formulation AND the location for delivery - the title of the patent application "method of delivering zinc ions in a nasal gel to the nasal membrane to relieve symptoms of the common cold" (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/000112/az_gel_tec_1.html) seems to support my assertion. In any case, thanks for the comment - I am sure when it comes out, many will scrutinize the patent.
