It is interesting the North Korea point you make is brought
up by critics of the US Iraq policy.

The problem is NKorea is we win over 2 million will die
in a day, if we lose over 2 million will die in 1 die.

That is not a game I would be in hurry to get involved.
What the US wants is Russia or China to get involved.
If the US wanted to rule the world why would they ask
for help? Russia and China are too busy though undermining our
Iraq policy.
