He's probably the best they could get on short notice without making a long-term commitment. Works out best for the both of them (NOVL and Raney) that way. IMO, Raney in no way wants to work on a permanent basis for Novell and is only doing this to help out an old buddy. "Hey Dennis, come on over for a while. The gravy's nice and thick here. Deep too!" Schmidt will hopefully get to pick the permanent replacement. I just hope it doesn't take as long as it took to find HIM. Rich
