Finder, The FRB sets Reg T at 25% equity as the minimum manintenance - you need to find another broker - even at 25% margin, your broker's loan to you is fully collateralized so he has little/no risk - I'd say by raising your minimum margin requirement, your broker wants to sell you out in order get hold of your position cheaply. If you are highly leveraged and close to getting called and don't have ready cash, consider selling coverd calls - NOV25c or NOV30c series. With ASND's beta, the premium should be juicy and they will settle the next business day so you would get quick credit to your account. Christopher
