Hi Brister--yes I am glad to be back trading actively though the break did me good.

Enjoying life in my new location--but ask me again after this winter:)

>>If you have time, I would like your opinion on Gold now.

You REALLY don't want to go with my opinion on gold--because I have never been so wrong about an investment that I have made in all of the years that I have been investing. Suffice to say that I am long several gold stocks and have seen steep losses. However, the positions were meant to be investments and so I have held them, painful as it has been. The metal has been basing and central bank selling seems to be less of a factor. But the inability of the metal to rise even with all of the financial chaos in the world markets is not encouraging. I have heard it said that the $ seems to have taken the place of gold as the refuge during uncertain times.

But don't go by my opinion in deciding what you should do when it comes to gold stocks. Hopefully, one of these days I shall recover my investment in these gold stocks.

Take care
