can you automatically get the same performance at half the power No you can't. See this post: Message 22807563 I'm guessing that they will get about a 30% improvement from the process/design and the rest will come from IPC improvement/clockspeed reduction. edit: The implication is that the rev G QC parts will be clocked around 2 GHz.
