Followup---------when I talk about Northern Virginia------I am referring to the Virginia across the Potomac River from Washington D.C., the nation's capitol.

When one looks at a map of the D.C. metro area, one will notice that Bethesda where Gore's son went to school is no more than 15 minutes across the Potomac River from Virginia.

This really is a small town---------as people in Virginia and Maryland and D.C. routinely interact and travel back and forth across the Potomac River.
