I only recently started to realize that the nation of Israel could be a deception
the word of God contains the answers to questions like these. we simply have to search the scriptures daily, whether these things are so. satan tips his hand for all those that seek understanding.
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: --Isaiah 14:12-13
notice that lucifer says he will sit "upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north". the next logical question is, well what is meant by the sides of the north? there is only one other place in scripture where this phrase is used.
Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. --Psalm 48:2
the sides of the north refers to zion, or jerusalem. this is where satan aims to set up his counterfeit kingdom. his great deception is to get christians to worship the literal or physical zion (israel) instead of the spiritual zion (israel).
But also we have to consider that some of the real 12 tribes are there in Israel also
i don't see that it makes any difference. the bible makes it crystal clear that physical lineage counts for nothing.
And if I understand the Word it's the remnant of Israel that will be saved
if you don't mind my asking, where does it say a remnant of israel will be saved? you may be referring to the remnant that was saved at Christ's first coming. there were many thousands of israelites who shared the faith of their father abraham and were saved as was recorded in the book of acts.
If God has preserved a remnant from the real twelve tribes possibly that is who is rescued from Israel in the end.
there is only one way to be "rescued", and that is through faith in Jesus Christ. being a literal physical descendant from one of the original twelve tribes of israel will profit you nothing. God is no respecter of persons. |
