Reciprocity: Whether we are talking bout our friends in Jordan or Saudi Arabia or fringe fundamentalist groups of any religion anywhere in the world, if they profess hatred and destruction for any other group, intolerance, they must moderate or face destruction. The world is too small for fanatical crazed fringe groups to promote terrorism or cultural wars. Whether it is the Israelis or PLO/HAMAS (apart from the hebrew/jews and palestinian/muslims living in these "governmental terroritories". Catholic or Protestant, Hindu or Buddist, Wahabi muslim or Shiite or Sunni muslim, etc. For instance, MADRAS schools that promote terrorism, should be closed. State schools in nations that have none, such as Pakistan, should be started, while respecting private schools, religious or otherwise that do not indoctrinate and brainwash children into hatred and intolerance of OTHERS, which is quite different from pride and heritage of ONESELF. I know what I would do, and we have almost as much information as the President has. The false assumption is that we are not privy to the quality of information the government has. One can be patriotic and still mistrust the government you know. Most of our most capable people go into private corporate careers, that leaves the rest to go into the government, getting 3 different answers from the IRS for the same question, according to a GAO study, is reason alone to mistrust our government. Blind Trust is dangerous for any society, that is what the NAZI and TALIBAN and others like them demanded from their citizens. I will venture out and quote Truman's Missouri philosophy "SHOW ME", I like many AMericans demand proof even from our government. Mistrust of the government is patriotic, HOPE for our government leaders to do the right thing is far different from blind trust. We are not children, we own this government, WE THE PEOPLE. The government SERVES US. Another reason I trust federal juries, but mistrust possible abuses by military tribunals. That is something to remember also as we compare the USA DEMOCRACY, our Republic, with the undemocratic and tyrant run governments and political movements around the world, especially when dealing with the Communist Chinese or Islamic fundamentalist self appointed religious fanatics that have no centralized uniform religious authority or membership govening body, just bullies and terrorists and illiterates. It really boils down to the simple choice of enlightment or dark ages.
