Thank you Meghan. I agree with you completely about the p/e being meaningless. You need to look at it and compare it with future growth expectations. I hope I have not neglected to make this clear in my previous posts.

BTW, what are your different formulas for calculating "Fair Value?"
I am new to investing, and would like to know things like this. I do have access to the numbers neccessary (I think), but would like to learn more about the formulas.

About Gateway and today's trading. Gateway is (at the time of this post) at 55 1/8. This is the same level that it has met resistance in the previous two trading sessions, and did not get higher than this. It will be very interesting to see if it can break through. If it breaks a key resistance level, and then DELL reports the good earnings everyone seems to think they will, then we could see it go as high as 65. This is risky ground, because it is what analysts most recently (last week?) predicted GATE to be at in a year!
