Scott, Thanks for the response. You are right, cable can do two-way. A coaxial cable does have bandwidth to do two-way, but what I was refering to was the way cable companies have wired their networks. Their coaxial cable networks are not physically wired for two-way communication.
Cable companies that are laying fiber now, are doing it for the two-way interactivity-to provide telephone and internet service.
