Hello BozkurtD

A gentleman who quite obviously knows a great deal more than I about the complications and players involved in the LTL/NDR "situation" has been corresponding lately. Until I am satisfied that I know from whence he comes, I do not plan to communicate or duplicate his posts here. However, he is quite obviously intimately familiar with the goings on and from what he has relayed, I can not imagine SUF getting involved without some isolation from all of the litigation between the various parties.

This gentleman seems to think that this might be possible in the near term, but from what I have read and what he has communicated, I just can't imagine CJ letting SUF get in any way exposed until the dust settles and/or they are indemnified through some mechanism.

This gentleman has suggested ratios, players and meetings, and biases/preferences of certain deep pockets. Business requires an element of risk, and these claims would be a plum, but not at any price.

It was also suggested that DB was in negotiations and I can see the temptation of snagging this play out from under them intriguing SUF in light of DB's actions vise a vie the M-1. But again, not at any price.

Old alliances and industry reputation were suggested as factors in the courtship of SUF/CJ by certain involved parties and perhaps through those channels equity may be gained, but as I said, I personally doubt site development would be likely until all the litigation was put to bed.

Regardless, the claims are very very prospective and have not even begun to be explored adequately. Remember for years, the same Exploration Company was managing the work on the LTL/NDR claims as the Yamba Lake claims and SUF already knows the shortcomings of their approach. You could fit 100 Yamba Lake claim blocks into all of LTL/NDR's claims and have room to spare so we are talking years of exploration before real potential could begin to be realized.

On a more immediate and upbeat note. I have just returned from BHP's Open House put on for local residents as a celebration and thank you for the completion of the Ekati Mine. About 1,200 carrats of some very interesting piles of rough including one seemingly near flawless 9 carrat beauty from each of four pipes were on display, along with about a dozen .5 to 1.25 carrat brilliant cut near perfect gems. Their fire was extremely impressive.

The Sable pipe in particular seems to have quite a few champagne diamonds and the company representative on hand suggested that a fair number of pinks, yellows and blues had also been recovered.

Exciting times.

Regards
