A few years back over Redondo Beach I was leaving work and saw about 15 individual clouds all shaped like candle flames. Big ones. Rounded on the bottom and curly pointed at the top. The next day we had the worst storm this area had seen in a long time. I sure wish I had thought about using my phone to get a picture. Haven't seen any like that since, even looking through the collection you posted.
