Goef, Thanks for the very informative reply. I know of the other technologies you mention except for VC/MT. I understand that it is a newcomer to the list of technologies. Recently CableLabs did a test on CDMA using Terayon: terayon.com I would like to see a CableLabs test on DWMT or DMT. Could there be a possibility it could hold up better and/or outperform CDMA especially in the presence of ingress and other disturbances such as common path distortion ? I have to admit that I am biased to Aware, DMT, and DWMT and am not expert in this field by any means. We will never know until it has been proven in the lab and out in the field. In a nutshell: Whether or not DMT or DWMT is better suited for cable modems than CDMA or another technology it would be nice to see it tested (if it has not been done so already) against competing technologies as I beleive it would be a shame for DMT and DWMT to go unnoticed.
