The days when the radio or the television was flipped on as soon as the family walked in the door are gone. Society is saturated with news all day. Couric may fit the image of some Americans' sweetheart that they must watch; however, for many she is another slightly attractive woman whose presence and demeanor doesn't command attention when she speaks on television. mj
