I had Magic Jack VOIP for the landline. All I was getting was telemarketing calls and a few from my Michigan family (despite my having told them to call me on my cell). I finally unplugged it. The voicemail still works, but I rarely check it. Like you, anyone I want to speak with knows to call me on my cell.
