we need some oversight report on the costs that can be applied to manhours spent on oversight, requests for documents, hearings for stuff that has zero impact on the economic welfare of our citizens. Too bad some republican group cannot put a dollar and time figure to all the requests schumer says are warranted. Then next to the report put down the lack of controls over illegal immigration etc that congress is not doing a thing about. One full page ad in wsj etc , fox news, it would be great kick off to next years race.
