You may not believe T/A works. That's fine, you have every right to. But you can not discount the fact that many folks do and there are many buy and sell orders placed based on their analysis. This in itself affects the market, so, to totally disregard the charts is to overlook one aspect of the total picture. I use T/A as one of my tools for investment, but it is not the only tool. T/A is more than just looking at a chart and saying the stock will jump or dip, there are many factors and tools that go into proper T/A.

Good luck in whatever method you choose to invest with.
