The Lieberman amendment--confronting Iran on its proxy attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq--just passed the Senate unanimously, 97-0.

This is worth a moment of thought.

Perhaps the senate knows we do not have sufficient troops to confront Iran as long as we are tied to Iraq.

Are we creating yet another opportunity to expand this war?
