You have a very valid point. After the "Step 1, step 2, what? No step 3?" bit plays out this year, they should follow with something like "After I plugged in my new iMac, I..." and then go into fast slide show mode as the narrator lists a full days work in the life of a well rounded computer pro with the graphics profession well represented.

Your statement that the iMac does not make a good computer for a graphic designer has me wondering. What are the shortcomings other than the 15" screen? Granted, this little black keyboard and hocky puck mouse need replacing, but the heart of the machine is pure form following function. Quite capable speedwise.

If I were running a business based on graphics design work, I would certainly want one of the tower G3s as the cornerstone of the office, but it seems natural to me to put iMacs on the desk tops not involved in large format composition projects (page layout) and network everything possible across the Ethernet 10/100.
