PW, some countries ask for the "1" before the "area code". (33, of course, is the country code for France.) Cell phones are different. I had a heck of a time when my daughter was living in Italy, but I finally figured it out. The easist way is to call your LD carrier and ask about Iceland. They may not know, but you will quickly find the correct method.

For calling FROM Europe, use your ATT or MCI calling card. There is an access code to call from each country listed.
