We need to get the hell out of Japan, Iraq, Germany, Korea, etc. It's all from a past bygone Cold War era when America was fighting communism or policing the world. We do need various bases to operate from around the world in case of emergencies, but thanks to Bush our country is so broke we can't afford anymore nation-building and occupying of other nations. We are just saving them from having to spend money on defense while we go broke doing so and we are treating them like babies. Meanwhile they are surpassing us economically. Since Bush made America a B Class economic power with a weak currency and bankrupted our government, now we need to start keeping our dollars at home and start worrying about taking care of our own people and country. Ron Paul is right about that.
