Yeah, about the real time quotes, I guess the hitch is that you have to require password access even though the account is free (is that right?). I understand that the service is for CNET to pay for. The one's footing the bill are of course the advertisers for now. At least ideally for any CNWK investors, it's the advertisers paying, and not the coffers.

These 'site' companies (SEEK, YHOO, etc. (and CNWK)) are worth something to the shareholders only insofar as they can make money (obviously). And they can make money today almost exclusively by selling ad space. So they have to bring in a quantity of high-value eyes, or just lots of eyes (in which the right ones will ultimately be included). The content providers have the cost of production but also the strength that they can sell their content to others, and that other site may want to quote them or send people there (especially the search engines). The search sites have the cost of indexing and maintaining adequate search technology.

I'm not saying much here, and I have to go (!), but we'll see if they can turn into the media networks of tomorrow. At least CNWK is targeting a specific audience, and has a decent start on their development of that content.
