The silencing of John's posts and opinions are for the detriment of all of us on this thread and a negative reflection on all of us. THis thread serves two purposes..1) The dissemination of factual information and 2)The voicing of opinions If John feels that Alan Ableson is on Merck's payroll..that's his opinion and must be respected as such. On the other hand, he may be right. As for the factual information of the market cap... as I pointed out there is a large total shares discrepency between two seemingly legitimate sources. I don't accept that one is historica or pre-split because that number would have been 15,000,000 and not the 20,000,000 posted. My larger question is why is there incorrect information out there? When John told me of his lower market cap numbers, I checked my source out with several others becauase he raiased a good question in my mind. I don't blame John for silencing himself if he has to watch what he says and how he says it because or he will be personally vilified. I'd do the same thing. But, if we all respond in a professional manner and keep the personalities and ego's out of it, we all will gain from the increased knowledge and understanding.
