re: Government was big and continued to grow during Clinton's term. So Clinton's words about big government being over, where just cheap meaningless words.

Under Clinton, government grew less than GDP, much less than any recent Repulican administration. Spending and revenue came into balance, an incredible accomplishment.

On the other hand, under Bush government exploded. Record deficits.

re: Esp, because in addition to allowing continued increases in spending Clinton increased the size and scope of federal government regulations.

Regulations can create growth and jobs. The government, Rep or Dem, spends 24/7 creating biases... it's just a matter of which side you are on. Several industries have done very well under Bush, thank you.

The fiscal contrast between Clinton and Bush couldn't be more stark.

You are welcome to say that Clinton had a Republican congress... but so did Bush (rubber stamp, unlike Clinton).

It may be time for you get past your partisan prejudice and look at real worl results. Reading your notes you sound like a party hack, not a libertarian. Reread your last note... think... I believe you have more intellectual honesty than you are showing.
