Dear Andy: That is exactly my point. MSFT has created a club, if you will, of computer technicians, hackers, vendors, third party software developers, third party hardware manufacturers etc that serves the consumer. AAPL did nothing to encourage this sort of synergy and became exclusive rather than inclusive. It is odd that they should be MSFT's accusers. Additionally it was MSFT who bailed them out when they were headed (all to their ownn mismanagement) down the tubes.My next computer will be a Win9x machine but I guess the tough part will be converting the files I want to preserve, for financial reasons, over to Win files. John
