It's a funny thing about all those Muslims in the Middle East. They blame the U.S. for not getting involved in helping them make democratic reforms and bring them to parity with the civilized world. And yet, when we get involved in a very big way, starting with Iraq, they want us to leave. When we don't, they start killing Iraqis in greater numbers than they kill our troops, in order to make their point.

I am beginning to believe that Muslims are an unsalvageable lot. They damn you if you do and they damn you if you don't. My conclusion is they simply want to damn you, and it doesn't matter to them what you do, you will not change their minds. Therefore, we have no choice but to use all of our might, economic, diplomatic, and military, to fight them until they decide that peace is a better way or until they're more progressive elements decide they'd better reign in the anti-Western rhetoric and terrorism to ensure their own survival.
