Slacker,

It sounded like things in China were not significantly lower, especially when taking FX into account.

What I noticed is that, overall, the share price was down about 1% during the first part of the call but it dropped to 3-4% down when they announced that the December quarter would be about the same as last year even though there was 1 less week this year. That sounded ok to me but I guess investors didn't like it, maybe worried about Apple's growth possibilities in the future.

For me, it was an ok report and ok guidance. No reason for me to sell right now. Apple's growth hasn't been in a straight line the past few years but has been in spurts so I am ok watching things right now. With the AVP on the near horizon as well as new computers, chips and a growing installed base, I can see Apple returning to growth soon. If it doesn't happen over the next year or two, then I might consider lightening the Apple in the portfolio.
