Do you interpret that as meaning that the AM2 platform supports dual sockets? I was disappointed when I saw that 4x4 needed the new Opteron socket, eliminating less expensive AM2 CPUs. I thought it must be a limitation of socket AM2 that it couldn't support cache coherency.
