The best way to end poverty in America is for women to be more selective about the men they have sex with, and only have children after they are married to a decent man who will work to support the family while the children are young. I put the blame on men, too. There are too many worthless men who just want to screw around, but they couldn't do it without the cooperation of the women.

There are a lot of reasons for poverty, but this one is preventable.

The government makes a big effort to warn that cigarettes cause lung cancer and that alcohol causes fetal alcohol syndrome, but where is the effort to stop out-of-wedlock pregnancy?
