I'll be concerned about the debt only if we don't do anything about it. I favor most of what's in the so-called
fiscal cliff measure-- Cut spending and let those ridiculous deficit inducing Bush tax cuts expire.
Unfortunately that's not politically palatable. However, I would favor a more gradual phasing in of the
spending cuts, so as not to set the economy back so much.
I believe the real goal of the folks who created, funded and marketed the Tea Party movement was to
eliminate most of government except of course for our huge defense/military/industrial complex:

Pollution: Industry will self-regulate, get rid of the EPA
Education: We don't need none. Leave it up to local governments
Regulations: Don't need none of those either
Healthcare: Free market. Rich folks get it, others don't
