re: I support allowing malpractice suits. Which doesn't mean I think our system is perfect. The system gets abused, and even somewhat legitimate uses of it creates extra costs, but I'd much rather have it than to have a situation like Cuba. Me too. Many states now have limits on jury awards for malpractice (FL has a $200k limit for instance, and can only be over-ridden by the legislature). I wonder if malpractice insurance rates are coming down to reflect these changes in risk.
