One of my favorites is [somebody]'s corollary to Murphy's law: "Jelly bread always falls jelly side down", sometimes rendered as "The chance of a piece of bread falling down with the buttered side down is directly proportional to the cost of the carpet."

Some others (where Hanlon's razor is identified as a corollary of Finagle's law]: cpuidle.de

including:

"Murphy's Second Corollary
It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious."

and

"Murphy's Law of the Day
[an error occurred while processing this directive]"

Note also:

"Law of Selective Gravity (the Buttered Side Down Law)
An object will fall so as to do the most damage.

Corollary (Klipstein) - The most delicate component will be the one to drop.

By the way- what happens if you glue the bread with the buttered [or jellied] side up to a cat's back and drop it- will the cat float in the air? or vanish?"
