More retail trades today, and assuming the Bear attack is over for the time being. They had been letting AMD run up at the open and shorting from strength.

Massive amounts of 27.50 calls were opened yesterday, and the day before. Just prior to the Bear attack, a huge volume of puts at 25 was opened. Suspicion that a hedge fund shorted from 27.80, and bought those puts at 25, and same people have reversed course buying calls at 27.50.

Possible that they are now going the other way.

Originally thought it was a protective straddle, the 25 was bought to lock in their profits in case earnings were above estimates, but the 27.50 calls have been increased.
