DownSouth. On NOK China GSM. Much earlier there was a comment from a Chinese official that they saw a continuing roll for GSM because it was a less costly way to supply wireless to the lower population density areas of China. In any case it is good policy to have multiple vendors competing for your business. I would expect to see CDMA take over in large metro areas and security conscious areas fan out from there as data traffic grows.
