To all...This is still the Feelings thread, right? Ok, a preface before I go on. The wife and I attended a local town meeting this eve, thereby missing dinner and instead feasting on bourbon in lieu of said dinner. We sat around discussing this and that with the TV on for background noise. She retired and I happened to watch a segment of Dateline on NBC. All about a gal, perhaps in her 40's, who suddenly lost her vision. God, I love courageous people - perhaps because I know too many who are weak. Anyway, from the pits of despair she threw away her cane (which she despised) and got a guide dog. The remainder of the segment concerned the trust and love which grew between her and this member of another species. I hope that some of you were fortunate enough to have seen it. I'm feeling a particular glow now, and not all of it is from the juice. Again, I love courageous people. Tomorrow, perhaps, I'll have another post (somewhat lighter) concerning a topic which arose in our conversation before my better half hit the sack. This will be addressed to the Ladies among us, and I would hope for some input to my wife's opinions. Ralph
