Vlad,very few companies pay 30-40% in tax. I own a company that paid 5% in tax this quarter. I did research on this in college 20 years ago. It came out somewhere about that the middle class had about 55% of the tax burden in this country. There are many companies I know that have paid no tax or very little tax for many years. I think corporate taxes come out to about 20% of the tax burden. Dont be fooled coprations dont pay their fair share,overall they are being taxed at about 10% of their income. Remember who has the power in this country,and don't be fooled by media and corporate propaganda,remember capitalism's propaganda is much more refined than communism's. They would not tax the new vBNS which is what the universities and research centers are using that runs at 21,000 times the speed of our modems,it runs on a separite network that was set up by MCI.
