Charles-- my guess is MC does not wish to be #2, behind CF. He wants to be top dog again. No one expects much from wcom so he will look good no matter what happens. Besides-- @ wcom he can shift blame on everyone else for anything bad & take credit for anything POSitive. Even few millions less in salary is better than being CFs #2. He can unload most of the company -- flush some of it--- and possibly end with a viable tiny version. A 'no lose' situation from where it will be eassier to move to a #1 position in the near future as wcom in present form has no future.
