OTOH, I think that you are looking for another 50-post discussion to chew it to death. No, I'm not. I only point out the very most conspicuously egregious and clear-cut examples in the hopes that one day you will actually revisit one with an open mind. Either that or finally trigger an insight that explains the phenomenon. The stretching is never my idea. Do you really think I enjoy fifty posts defending some point I made that should be obvious to anyone who read it, or taking some trip down the garden path over somebody else's figment, or ducking some hostile wise-acre? Yes, once in a while they can turn out amusing but mostly they're a huge waste of time. Over and out.
